Da Saxônia
à Amazônia

We’re building the first winery in the deep of the Amazon Rainforest.

Step 1

Wild grown, not bred

From the Rio Negro to the Solimões River, all our Harvesters collect wild, organic and biodynamic Amazon fruits. Never in contact with pesticides, herbicides, or any other “*-cides,”. Only living soils, naturally occurring kaolin, electrolytes-rich Sediments and the Amazon sun.

Our History

Step 2

Pure wine without additives

SUGAR FREE

Every wine is fermented completely dry with less than 1 gram per liter. This even includes our rosé, sparkling, and white wine!

LOWER ALCOHOL

With the national average nearing 14%, none of our wines are over 12.5% abv.

NON GMO

While most wines are fermented with lab made yeasts, our Natural Wines are fermented with non GMO, wild yeasts found naturally on grapes in the vineyard.

NO TOXIC ADDITIVES

Commercial wine companies may use up to 76 FDA-approved additives (like toxic dimethyl dicarbonate); our growers do not.

Approved by Taste Experts

Step 3: Our team of wine experts evaluates every wine and tastes each bottle multiple times to ensure they’re elegant, vibrant, and most of all, delicious. We believe in the taste of our wines so much that we back every bottle with our 100% Happiness Promise. You’ll love each sip – or your bottle’s on us.

Patrick

We are the first winery in the heart of the Amazon, producing natural wines exclusively from wild delicious fruits.

A revolução do VINHO selvagem — exclusivo.

Process of fruit harvest 📜

The Start

From the pristine Amazon into your glass

Our collectors live in the depths of the Amazon. There is no “normal” road here. The fruits are collected in the vicinity of the villages, but it often happens that the collectors travel several days to find the best fruits.

They must always collect in groups, because deep in the jungle dangers lurk everywhere. Through long, intensive training, we have shown the collectors which qualities they have to look out for – not always easy in the deep Jungle.

2015 – 2017

What defines us 🏅

Terroir

A Terroir like no other in the world

Family Secrets

Old family secrets from Saxony’s viticulture

FAQ – Profound Questions

We know what we’re doing. Making a wine is not difficult, no question. However, producing a really good, sustainable and extremely Fruit-tasty Wine with a perfect ratio of acidity and tannins that doesn’t taste like syrup is more difficult.

And here we bring a lot of experience with us. Not only from our professional life, but also little secrets from our families. We both grew up in Saxony, East Germany and the production of food, wine and Met was everyday life in almost every family during the division of Germany and we learned these things as children. So every family and region was had their own little tricks and secrets.

According to the latest research, wine was already being grown near Leipzig, where Patrick grew up, in 1,100 AD. Lars grew up in the district of Meißen, which is not only known worldwide for its luxurious porcelain, but also as a wine-growing region for the finest wines, which are only produced in small quantities.

So we didn’t come to the wine – the wine came to us.

We pair our actions 💪 with love 💚 and the power of nature 🌳 to make the best tropical Wines 🍷

Making a wine is not difficult, no question. However, creating a really good, sustainable and extremely Fruit-tasty Wine with a perfect ratio of acidity and tannins that doesn’t taste like syrup is really difficult.

Lars is considered a perfectionist when it comes to the small – sometimes invisible – adjustment screws in terms of quality, storage and production temperatures and processes. He loves to combine the old, antique with modern processes.

Patrick always shines with new product ideas, has a huge depth of knowledge about the wild fruits and extensive knowledge of sustainability and social commitment such as supporting our fruit collectors and afforestation. Besides the indigenous people, he is probably the only one who walks barefoot through the forest 🙈 Please never – really never – imitate it.

In short: We combine our knowledge, old family recipes and Saxons +900 year old wine culture, many endless coincidences, a never-ending thirst for knowledge and the almost forgotten Secrets of the indigenous people with the ancient georgian winemaking and modern, hygienic production processes.

In 2015, Patrick made his first public appearance, introducing his Acai wine and other fruit wines to the world. Here he not only incorporated old family knowledge, but also ancient forms of wine production – paired with the knowledge of indigenous friends but also with modern insights.

However, at that time Patrick had only produced the wines for friends and a few selected restaurants – more in barter, if you like. As time went by, the inquiries increased and, as frank as our Patrick is, he told many people the principle of wine production. Luckily, but never the little secrets that make the difference in our wines.

And so it happened that all sorts of people – from Acre to Manacapuru – started ordering large quantities of wine from Patrick. What happened next, of course, no one could have predicted. People removed Originak Labels, relabeled the bottles with their own labels, and offered the Amazon wines as their own brand 🙈.

For this reason, it is important to us that we praise the originality and the origin, because inferior products can, after all, bring an entire region into disrepute. We want our customers to get the transparency they rarely get and we also want you to have a real AHA experience when drinking our wines and to taste every single fruit in harmony in its own way.

YES. Our Amazon Wines use all-natural ingredients. Our Fruits growing in the wild biodivercity of the Amazonian Forest and never seen pesticides, insecticides or herbicides. We also used only historical, non-commercial yeasts that we have from the Saxon wine-growing region and we have also started cultivating and selecting native wild yeasts from the Biodivercity of the Rainforest.

In addition, we do not add any sulphites and use natural methods of preservation.

It’s really fascinating. Our wines have a special feature: in tasting they are like well-known premium grape wines, but always accompanied with the highly aromatic characteristics of each fruit. Our wines cannot be described as “flowery”, “fruity” or “cherry”, because our fruits combine the intense origin taste of wild Fruits, paired with ancient winemaking and a touch of modern quality management – a real taste explosion 😋💥

to drink wine is not about wastin time its about regaining time that has been lost

Vinho hoje – Nossa etiqueta limpa

There’s no reinventing, rethinking, re-etcetera-ing a perfect glass of wine. The premise is nothing new: source the tastiest grapes, treat them right, and let them shine. Then, of course, pour it in a glass. It’s not easy or cheap, which is why so many wines today use added sugars, flavorings and concentrates and come in mass-produced bottles, boxes and bags – pretty unusual.

Excellent wine should be enjoyed more often, and to the last drop. Usual takes the same artful approach to making real wine, but delivers it in generous single-serve glasses.

No sweeteners, no flavorings, and no stale, re-corked bottles. Yes to sustainable farms, the best grapes in California, and a fresh glass every time.
